Reminded me a lot about the Classics Bludgeon toy, this one turns into a bug right? And the guy, is he a Samurai version of Spike?

Yup, a bug. As for the samurai, you're quite close. He is actually my version of Spike's bro, Buster Witwicky. I have a different design for "Spike".

That's cool, I had the feeling that Spike would have spiky hair or something like that. Good to see Buster showing up in fanart, he has become the forgotten Witwicky by now.
